Photo Finale 7.0 - Beta Underway!

Photo Finale 7.0 is in beta testing as we wrap up this version for full release next month. Our most robust release yet, v7.0 features a slick new workflow for creative products, complete with easy category and occasion browsing and project saving. The website now uses the same templates as on the kiosk, which means there are tons of new products you can offer online! Consumers will love your new Family Photo Zoo tool too--using all the photos they have uploaded, they can instantly create a full family photo sharing website. Along with new sharing page features, faster multi-threaded uploader and a bunch of UI tweaks to make things simple and smooth, your customers will love your new site.

Calling All Great Ideas!

Picture Business is putting together an Imaging Retail Look Book and is looking for the most creative, quirky, unusual, and effective ideas you are utilizing in your locations. Tell them what’s working in your stores, or on the web, and why.

Share your stories, in-store pictures or web screenshots showing your retail operation’s outstanding features and ideas. They’ll combine all the submissions into one great industry Look Book later this year.

Don’t be shy, show and tell the industry what it is you do best. Try to keep your enthusiastic explanations in the 250-word range, and don’t forget the pics!

Reminder: Update EQ Gifting with New Photo Gifts!

This is a reminder to install the previously announced EQ Gifting update.



New Products Include: expert photo restoration, digital art, Magic Faces and the very-popular WallJammer clings! Customers submit their photos via the kiosk and the finished products are returned to your store for pickup. Visit Lucidiom's Marketing Tools section for the Magic Faces marketing samples and kit!

How to Install the Update: The update ("EQ Gifting, 2010.1") is available via the Lucidiom Downloader. Run the Lucidiom Downloader on your kiosk, click Update List and choose the "EQ Gifting, 2010.1" update to download then run Setup.exe. For a complete and updated list of the EQ Gifts, click here.

What is EQ Gifting? Lucidiom's EQ Gifting program is available on your APM kiosk--for free! We have hundreds of gifts from over 20 vendors...we manage the product list and vendors for you, so when new items come out or new vendors are added, you can get all the changes up on your kiosk right away. August: Content & Technical Training Session

Content Training and Support Training sessions are scheduled for August 5th/6th. Come for these free classes held at our headquarters in Vienna, Virginia and learn all there is to know about creating custom content for the APM and Photo Finale and about the technical ins and outs (and some secrets!) of our system. This summer session will also include a marketing segment--learn what free materials and tools are available to you and some tips and ideas on how to market your Lucidiom products. You WILL learn something valuable to use in your store!
